Customer Referral Campaign Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

1.1          These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in the Customer Referral Campaign ("Referral Campaign") organised by ExpenseIn ("Organiser"). 

1.2          By participating in the Customer Referral Campaign, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not participate in the Referral Campaign. 

2. Eligibility

2.1          The referral campaign is open to any existing user or former user of ExpenseIn’s services (“Participant”).

2.2          Referees must be new customers to ExpenseIn and meet all eligibility criteria specified by the company.

2.3          The scheme does not apply to linked accounts, subsidiaries, or companies within the same corporate group.

2.4          Referrals made prior to the commencement of the promotion are not eligible for backdating.

2.5          Participants in the referral scheme must be at least 18 years old and reside in the UK or the Republic of Ireland.

2.6          Participants are responsible for any tax implications or reporting requirements associated with receiving the eGift card. It is the participants responsibility to comply with local tax laws and regulations.

2.7          It is the participants responsibility to comply with their company’s policy regarding the receipt of referral incentives. If receiving an eGift card is in breach of the participant's company policy, the participant can nominate ExpenseIn to make a charitable donation to Global’s Make some Noise, ExpenseIn’s chosen charity.

3. Referral Process

3.1          Participants can refer new customers ("Referees") by completing the referral form on ExpenseIn’s website.

3.2          Participants must obtain the Referees consent to make this referral. They acknowledge that ExpenseIn will contact the Referees to discuss the services offered.

3.3          Once the form is submitted, ExpenseIn's customer success team will contact the participant, while the sales team will contact the referee to arrange a discovery call.

4. Referral Rewards

4.1          The referral campaign programme offers benefits to both parties:

  • Participants: Will receive a £100/€100 eGift card (via Gift Pay) or they nominate ExpenseIn to make a charitable donation to Global’s Make some Noise, ExpenseIn’s chosen charity.

  • Referee: Will receive a 20% discount on their monthly subscription fee which will be valid for the first 6 subscription invoices. Each monthly subscription is subject to a minimum usage fee of 10 users.

4.2          A referral is considered successful when the Referee completes the implementation process, and the account is upgraded.

4.3          The reward will be issued to the participant the later of 14 working days of our Billing team receiving confirmation of the chosen reward and the account being upgraded.

5. Reward Conditions

5.1          Rewards are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

5.2          If a referral is deemed invalid or fraudulent, the reward will be revoked.

6. Privacy & Data Usage

6.1          By participating in the Campaign, both participant and referee consent to the use of their personal data in accordance with ExpenseIn's Privacy Policy.

6.2          Personal data collected during the Campaign will be used solely for the purpose of tracking referrals and issuing rewards.

7. Modifications & Termination

7.1          ExpenseIn reserves the right to modify or terminate the Campaign at any time without prior notice.

7.2          Any changes to the terms and conditions will be posted on the ExpenseIn website.

8. Disqualification

8.1          ExpenseIn reserves the right to disqualify anybody who violates these terms and conditions or engages in fraudulent activity.

8.2          Decisions made by ExpenseIn regarding the Campaign, including eligibility and reward issuance, are final.

9. Liability

9.1          ExpenseIn is not responsible for any technical issues, network outages, or other events that may interfere with the referral process or reward delivery.

9.2          Participants release ExpenseIn from any liability arising from participation in the Campaign or the acceptance of any reward.

10. Governing Law

10.1          The Campaign and these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

10.2          Any disputes arising from the Campaign will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.

11. Acceptance of Terms

11.1          By participating in the Campaign, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

11.2          If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not participate in the Campaign.
