1. Tell us a bit about yourself…
My role at ExpenseIn is as an Account Manager, working in our main sales team. I handle our sales enquiries for demos of our software and then follow the enquiry all the way through to the point of sale. After this, I will also be that clients Account Manager to help them with any assistance and to be a central point of contact along the way with us.
2. What does a typical day look like for you?
Taking incoming enquiries, over phone, email and live chat. Arranging discovery calls with prospects, demoing our software, following up on enquiries that have had a demo, and arranging our 'keep in touch' calls to ensure everything is going smoothly with the client's software and service with us.
3. Today is International Women’s Day. What does IWD mean to you?
Ensuring that women feel empowered to be themselves in the workplace and in general in life and we are seen as equals as we are!
4. This year’s IWD theme is “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality”. What does this mean to you?
It means to focus on the change and education in the digital age for achieving gender equality.
5. If you could switch jobs with another woman, who would it be?
Someone who travels the world and gets paid good money for it. Maybe a travel writer or maybe Jane McDonald, she gets to travel a lot and always appears to be living the life.
6. If you could have dinner with three inspirational women, dead or alive, who would they be and why?
I find this hard to pick just 3! But I will go with ….
My grandma – She has always been so positive in life, independent and strong and always been a solid sounding board for me through life and I feel she has truly been an independent woman.
Julia Roberts – She has been hugely successful in her career, yet she still appears to be grounded, elegant and appreciative of what she has. She also stars in many of my favourite films.
Natalie Portman – Again massive fan of her work.
I am not sure my grandma would know these people, but it's an interesting mix.
